Gilda was invited to participate in the Ottawa Orchid Society Show 2013. The theme of the show was "Orchids and People" so she presented original and unique pieces integrating the faces of her daughters into the flowers.
She was awarded the 2nd. place in the Digital Painting category with her piece "Silver Dream".
